Confirmation of the reservation implies the introduction into the system by CLIENTS or ACCOUNT, by automated or non-automated means, of personal identification data, and credit and debit card data, which will be used to facilitate and enable the contracting and reservation of the concrete services that make up the request of the CUSTOMER, as well as to provide information regarding products and services of VEGA Turismo Internacional Lda., hereinafter referred to as VEGA.

 

In no case shall information be requested on philosophical or political beliefs, party or trade union affiliation, religious belief, private life and racial or ethnic origin as well as data on health and sex life, including genetic data.

 

The processing of personal data is carried out in strict compliance with personal data protection legislation in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the Parliament and of the Council, and / or any legislation that regulates, adds or replaces said legislation, in the whole referred to as "General Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data" (hereinafter referred to as RGDP).

 

Any personal data that CLIENTS may disclose to VEGA shall be understood as obtained, processed and transmitted under the strict observance of the RGDP.

 

By providing your personal data CLIENTS declare that they authorize and consent to the processing of their data by VEGA for the purposes of facilitating and allowing the contracting and reservation of the concrete services that compose their request, as well as to receive information regarding products and services available from VEGA.

 

Your data will be kept in our system for one year, from the date of consente or unless you say otherwise.

 

VEGA declares and warrants that it has implemented, is endowed and will continue to implement the security measures of a technical and organizational nature necessary to guarantee the security of the personal data provided to it in order to prevent its alteration, loss, treatment and / or access taking into account the current state of the technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed.

 

If the CLIENT wishes to exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition that the RGDP grants them, he should send an email to vega@vega.pt or to rosario.morais@vega.pt or cancel by the means available at the reception of the Newsletter.

 

 

Personal Data obtained through registration, by automated or non-automated means, are incorporated into a computer application owned by VEGA.

 

VEGA employees access the information on file with the insertion of access passwords, whose registration is documented.

 

Changing the data in the files is possible by keeping a record of the date of the change.

 

The Personal Data is treated with the legally required degree of protection to guarantee its security and prevent its alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access, taking into account the state of the technology.

 

The CUSTOMER is aware and accepts that Internet security measures are not impregnable.

 

VEGA is equipped with peripheral control technical infrastructures which comply with safety requirements.

The credit card data is only used to make payment and, after the transaction is made, is deleted from our records, except when the CLIENT has authorized us to keep them.

 

For security reasons applicable to certain countries it is compulsory to place in the flight reservations the information regarding data such as name, passport number, sex, age, nationality. Such information contained in the reservation may, in accordance with the applicable legislation, be based on Directive (EU) 2016/680 of the European Parliament and of the Council, be consulted by the competent authorities of the countries of origin or destination for the purpose of prevention, investigation , the detection or prosecution of criminal offenses or the execution of criminal sanctions, and the free movement of such data and Directive 2016/681 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

 

VEGA accessing any personal data, undertakes to:

 

• Protect personal data of CLIENTS through legally enforceable security measures of a technical and organizational nature in order to prevent unauthorized alteration, loss, processing or access, in accordance with the current state of technology, nature of the data and the possible risks to which they are exposed;
• To use or apply the data exclusively for the purposes foreseen;
• Ensure that the data are used solely for the provision of the service, and they are bound to the duty of confidentiality. Should the information be disclosed to third parties, they should be required to keep the confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of this document.

Cookies are small files that are saved on the CUSTOMER's computer and are used only to identify the computer that is accessing the web site.

 

These files do not contain any personal information. Cookies generally have a limited duration in time. No cookie can extract information from the CUSTOMER's hard drive, steal personal information, or read cookie files created by other vendors.

 

Thanks to cookies, it is possible for VEGA to recognize CUSTOMERS duly registered, provided they use the same equipment and browser, without having to register at each visit to access the areas and services reserved exclusively for them. The CUSTOMER is free to reject our cookies if the browser allows, but in doing so may be compromising the full functionality of the websites used.

 

Personal Data is obtained for the purpose of:

• (i) Proper of the activity linked to a DMC;
• (ii) Provision to the interveners in the services requested by the CUSTOMER to fulfill the reservation / service contracted by the CUSTOMER;
• (iii) Management, administration, provision, expansion and improvement of services in which the CLIENT decides to subscribe and register or use the adequacy of these services to the preferences and tastes of the CLIENTS;
• (iv) Verify credit cards and other types of cards used for payment and indicated by the CLIENT himself;
• (v) The study of the use of services by CLIENTS;
• (vi) verify, maintain and develop statistical systems and analyzes;
• (vii) Advertising, promotion and commercial prospecting activities if duly accepted by the CUSTOMER, Newsletters;
• (viii) Submit survey forms to which the CUSTOMER is not obliged to respond;

The CUSTOMER may allow VEGA to process your Personal Data for the purpose of determining your profile and offering you suitable products and services. These services may be owned by or third parties.

 

In addition, the CLIENT will expressly consent that the Personal Data may be assigned to:

 

• (i) national and international authorities competent in the field of tourism, terrorism or crimes that violate human rights;
• (Ii) any legal entity which is a subsidiary or subsidiary of VEGA or the company which has contracted the service (hotels, water transport, land, rail, air, rental, etc.) to use them for the purpose of correct delivery of each service requested by the CLIENT.

On the other hand, the CLIENT agrees that access to the information regarding the service contracted with VEGA in order to offer additional services to the contractor.

 

Failure to respond to the data, considered mandatory, will imply the impossibility of accessing the service for which the data were requested.

 

VEGA may disclose the CLIENTS 'information to third parties solely for the purpose of completing the requested reservation and for administrative reasons under the legislation in force for travel / service implementation in certain countries.

 

Any data collected by automated or non-automated means shall be transmitted, in accordance with the provisions of the RGDP, to the entities involved to contract the required services to the extent absolutely necessary for the realization of the reservation / service intended and for compliance with the legislation of the Countries of destiny.

 

If you do not agree to the above conditions, VEGA will not be able to contract with you and therefore you will not be able to accept your reservation.

 

Please ensure that you have provided us with your credit card details correctly; if this is not the case, your reservation can be delayed and the total costs may be altered as a result of the late booking.

 

VEGA reserves the right to cancel the reserved services after confirming the reservation if the payment is refused by the credit card issuer or if you have supplied the information incorrectly.

 

VEGA also reserves the right to carry out random checks in order to minimize credit card fraud, namely to request, prior to confirmation of the reservation, the sending of proof of address or a statement of account of the most recent possible. The documents provided will be used exclusively to confirm the data provided and will be destroyed as soon as they are no longer necessary.
